Anonymous asked: would you try ayahuasca I am not mentally prepared for that kind of journey yet. A person with cultural ties to Peru once told me he was balancing on the edge of the universe, a breath away from falling into a dark abyss while his life entered through his eyes, escaped through his mouth. As he was ready to die, he was pulled back into the reality of Earth in a matter of seconds. He thought he had died for a few months, when actually it was an hour-long hallucination. With something like ayahuasca, there is a great deal of responsibilty behind it. Being careful not to disturb indigenous traditions, and then the actual process of preparing for such a life-altering journey (the trip to South America and the actual psychological journey which you might not altogether come back from). Everyone I have spoken to have shared with me that their lives are not the same anymore. |
